Would

"Would"

Would is a past tense form of will. It is used to talk about future of the past.

In other words, whenever we need to use will in past situation, we use would instead.

Roman:

Would will ki past form hai. Would ka istemal past me future batane liyein krte hain.

Urdu:

وڈ ول کی ماضی کی فارم ہے۔ اس کا استعمال ماضی میں مستقبل کی بات کرنے کیلئے کیا جاتا ہے۔

Examples:

Sentences	Roman
He said he would come.	Usne kaha tha wo ayega.
You told me that you would talk to her..	Tmne kaha tha ke tm us se bat kroge.
He said to her that he would come soon.	Usne us se kaha ke wo jaldi ajayega.

Will

"Will"

We use will to make predictions about the future.

Roman:

Hum will ka istemal future ke bare me paishgoi karne ke liyein krte hain.

Urdu:

ہم ول کا استعمال استعمال مستقبل کیلئے پیشگوئی کرنے کیلئے کرتے ہیں۔

Examples:

Sentences	Roman
It will rain tomorrow.	Kal barish hogi.
You will be in time if you hurry.	Agr tm jaldi kroge to wakht se pehle ajaoge.
He will ask you the same question.	Wo tmse yehi sawal pochega.

May

"May"

May is used to talk about possibility and permission.

Roman:

May ka istemal ijazat aur imkaan ke liyein kia jata hai.

Urdu:

مے کا استعمال اجازت اور امکان کیلئے کیا جاتا ہے۔

Examples:

Sentences	Roman
May I come in? (permission)	Kia me andar asakta hn?
He may meet you. (possibility)	Shayad wo tmse mile.
Yes you may come in. (permission)	Han tm andar asakte ho.

Should

"Should"

Should is used for obligation and making recommendation.

Roman:

Should ka istemal farz kam batane aur mashwara dene ke liyein kia jata hai.

Urdu:

شڈ کا استعمال فرض کام بتانے یا مشورہ دینے کیلئے کیا جاتا ہے۔

Examples:

Sentences	Roman
He should work hard.	Use zada mehnat krni chahiye.
They should obey parents.	Unko waledein ki farman bardari karni chahiye.
I should quite smoking.	Mujhe cigarette chor deni chahiye.

Shall

"Shall"

Shall is used for offers, suggestions and advise.

Roman:

Shall ka istemal offer, raaye or nasihat ke liyein kia jata hai.

Urdu:

شیل کا استعمال آفر، رائے اور نصیحت کیلئے کیا جاتا ہے۔

Examples:

Sentences	Roman
Shall I make a tea?	Kia me chaaye bana don?
Shall we hire a taxi for you?	Kia hum apke liyein taxi la den?
Shall I drop you home?	Kia me tmhe ghar chor don?
