Past Progressive

"Past Progressive"

We use past progressive for actions going in the past. 

Roman:

Hum past progressive ka istemal un tamam kamo ke liye krte hain jo maazi me chal rahe the.

Urdu:

ہم اس ٹینس کا استعمال ان تمام کاموں کیلئےکرتے ہیں جو ماضی میں چل رہے تھے۔

Affirmative Structure:

I + was + ing form of verb
We / You / They + were + ing form of verb
Third person singular + was + ing form of verb

Negative Structure:

I + was + not + ing form of verb
We / You / They + were + not + ing form of verb
Third person singular + was + not + ing form of verb

Interrogative Structure:
Was + I + ing form of verb
Were + we / you / they + ing form of verb
Was + third person singular + ing form of verb

Negative interrogative Structure:
Was + I + not + ing form of verb

Were + we / you / they + not + ing form of verb
